The most common driveway surfaces Celtic Clean and Seal works with are block paving, tarmac and concrete. Each responds differently to cleaning and requires the correct approach to achieve a good result without causing surface damage.
Tarmac or asphalt driveways make excellent options for cleaning, as once it’s cleaned off, we can apply a tarmac sealer to the surface, which will completely restore the colour.
Block paving in particular requires attention to both the block surface and the joints, where moss and algae tend to accumulate and where jointing sand will need replacing after cleaning. You can have your block paving sealed with an impregnator, which will not only provide long-term protection but also lift the colour in the paving.
Oil stains and tyre marks can also be treated with appropriate degreasers prior to cleaning, significantly improving the final result on driveways that see regular vehicle use.
